We’re a little late to the party but that doesn’t mean Neil Cameron’s A-Z of Awesomeness isn’t worthy of sharing for all to enjoy. Cameron took suggestions from followers for themes per letter in the alphabet and created an illustration each day. Cameron describes the process as:
Each day I would post a new drawing, based on suggestions from followers of my blog, Facebook and Twitter. 26 drawings over 26 days, one for each letter of the alphabet.
There were no rules as to what people could suggest, merely that it be… Awesome.
The posters were just recently up for sale again [update: the second printing just sold out as of 4/7/10]. And to make this poster even more awesome than Optimus Prime Obliterating Oompa Loompas —all profits from the sale of the second printing will be donated to SSNAP (Support for the Sick Newborn And their Parents), a charity which supports the Intensive Special Care Nurseries (Neonatal Unit) at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
