Oakland, California-based songstress Goapele, broke onto the Bay Area music scene in 2001 with her ethereal EP, Closer. Milk & Honey is the lead single to her upcoming album to be released in 2011.
“Break of Dawn” CD cover was a collaboration between Giographix and Skyblaze Recording’s Teddy Thunderbolt. For “Milk & Honey”, the title was ripe with imagery, the challenge was to keep it looking like a cereal commercial. The image was first introduced to her fans by a tweet.
